You will be Pick up from your hotel/airport by your driver for a departure to the world renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point then lunch in Narok. Mara's tawny, wildlife-stuffed savannahs are familiar to anyone who has watched nature documentaries. Reliable rains and plentiful vegetation underpin this extraordinary ecosystem and the millions of herbivores it supports. Wildebeest, zebras, impalas, elephants, Masai giraffes and several species of gazelle all call the Mara home. This vast concentration of game accounts for high predator numbers, including cheetahs, leopards and a higher lion density. You will go in search of the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve before going back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Meals: Lunch, dinner anddrinking water
You’ll spend this day having unlimited game drives – explore as much as you wish or take time to relax – the choice is yours. Just let your driver/guide know what you’d like to do. If you wish you can take an optional visit to a nearby Maasai village to meet the tribe’s people and learn about their culture and their lives. Another optional treat is an early morning hot air balloon safari over the park as the sun lights up the forests, savannah, and hills. The sight of the park coming to life is a never-to-be-forgotten experience. Just ask your driver/guide for details – he’ll be happy to make all the arrangements. After a full day of unforgettable wildlife experience, you'll go back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Meals and Drinks: All meals, drinking water
After a mouthwatering breakfast, depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift valley, for Lake Nakuru with game drive en route and picnic lunch. You will arrive in the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru National Park early evening then proceed for a game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge/camp.
